Sofie Nelson a 29 years old runner who lives in Karlstad. She’s works in marketing & communication and events. Other than that Sofie is a running coach and she arranges running camps close to where she lives so other runners has an opportunity to choose a more environmental friendly alternative to go on running adventure.
2. What got you into running?
I started running as a complement to other training. For example i liked to go for different types of group classes. It was when I started studying at the university I started running and i felt that it gave me so much more than just training. It was relaxing, gave me energy and it was a way to see new places.3. Besides running, what kind of workout are you into?
I really love beeing in nature so hiking is another thing i like. And biking for transportation.
4. Music vs. No music while running? If yes, what and why?
Usually no music because i often run in the forrest and i like to enjoy the calming sounds from nature.
5. Where’s the best running route according to you?
I like variation but everywhere in nature. And ofcourse the mountains are hard to resist.
6. What’s your best accomplishment in running according to you?
It was a fantastic feeling to be the first woman to cross the finnishline at the great Wall marathon in china.
7. What’s the best thing about running
The freedom it gives me. And its a way to relax, gain energy and to meet new people.
8. Last but not least, what are your best tips for the person who wants to start running?Take your time, don’t stress. Run in environments you like to be in. Run on new places or with friends. Find a way that works for you. Because there is no rules in running. Running is freedom.
